On this page, you will find all the practical information you need to organize a visit to the Apremont-sur-Allier floral park with a group of children, whether you are a teacher or the manager of a leisure center.
The floral park offers young visitors a full day including a visit to the floral park, the castle ramparts, and the new immersive exhibition in the heart of the stables that takes us back to the 1900s. There is a picnic area available in the village, and a choice of one workshop from the five offered.
These activities are designed to complement school learning.
YOU CAN STILL VISIT THE FLORAL PARK, IMMERSIVE EXHIBITION, AND CASTLE RAMPARTS WITHOUT PARTICIPATING IN A WORKSHOP.

Léa Julien, our facilitator, holds a BAFA and has extensive experience in day camps and summer camps. She is currently pursuing a degree to become a primary school teacher.
The Apremont Floral Park, designated a remarkable garden, is perfectly suited for young visitors. It allows them to observe and smell a wide variety of annual and perennial flowers, shrubs, and trees. All species are labeled to facilitate interaction with the students or to be incorporated into an educational project. The visit does not require following marked paths, so children can freely run on the grass. The three exotic structures, the waterfall, the bridges, and the water features are all elements highly appreciated by our young visitors!
The park visit is self-guided, accompanied by a booklet of games and questions, and lasts on average 1.5 to 2 hours.
The Apremont stables house a brand-new immersive tour that allows students to dive into the life of the Apremont castle at the beginning of the 20th century. Through a series of scenes animated by films and realistic settings, they will discover the beginning of cinema, the first motor cars, period costumes, as well as the work of the groom and the blacksmith…
It is also a page of the castle’s history, narrated through the departure of Eugène and Antoinette Schneider as they head to Paris to inaugurate their pavilion at the 1900 World’s Fair!
This fun activity lasts 30 minutes. Independent departures are scheduled every half hour.
The activities can complement the visits. They are scheduled to last approximately 1 hours and a half and can be done in the morning or afternoon.
Thus, a school can bring two classes: one will do the visit in the morning and the workshop in the afternoon, and the other will do the opposite.
We recommend that younger children do the workshops in the morning.
We cannot accommodate more than 28 students at a time per workshop.
To ensure the smooth running of the workshop, the assistance of teachers and accompanying adults will be appreciated.
